Early-stage startups registered in Tanzania, developing solutions that address climate-related challenges.
The Adaptation and Resilience ClimAccelerator supports innovative solutions that help communities adapt to climate change and protect livelihoods.
Some examples include: Early warning systems, drought-resistant crops, water management tools, climate-smart technologies, nature-based solutions and more.
We are looking for solutions that have been developed and tested in the market. MVP (Minimum Viable Product) refers to the simplest version of a product
that allows a startup to test its core idea with customers and gather feedback. While post-MVP refers to the stage after the initial MVP has been built
and tested. At this point, the product is being further developed and refined based on customer feedback and is likely generating early revenue or
seeing initial market traction.
The Adaptation & Resilience ClimAccelerator provides support services, including funding opportunities, mentorship from industry experts, access to
resources and infrastructure, networking events and educational programmes to help startups refine their business models.
We are looking for a committed, coachable team. While not all team members need to be full-time, the founders must be fully dedicated and actively
engage in all program activities, including bootcamps, mentorship and peer-learning sessions.
No. Selected startups will have access to grant funding, mentorship and resources during the programme to test, validate and grow their solutions.
We expect to select up to 10 startups to join the programme.
The program runs for approximately 9 months and includes four stages: Applications & Selection,
Due diligence and impact assessment, Acceleration, Expo and Programme Closeout.
You can contact our team directly at info@smartlab.co.tz or call +255 753 904 818 for any questions. We also encourage startups to attend our
upcoming info session on the 17th of September, 2025, where we’ll walk you through the programme and answer questions live, providing guidance
on the application process, program structure and available support.
